A midseason update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on September 28. This update will bring the current season to a close, making it the final one. The name of the latest update, “The Last Stand,” fits the theme perfectly since it appears to bring things to a satisfying conclusion on a positive note.

The players can anticipate the addition of additional operators, weaponry, and even a new multiplayer map for Vanguard, among other things. The fact that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be released the following month and Warzone 2 will be released in November should make this the ideal opportunity for players to say their goodbyes.

When the midseason update goes live, the Lienna 57 Light Machine Gun and the BP50 Assault Rifle will be the two new weapons available to gamers. According to Activision, the Lienna 57 is a small light machine gun capable of maintaining a high level of accuracy while firing continuously at short to long ranges.

The publisher describes the BP50 Assault Rifle as a fully automatic bullpup assault rifle that, despite its high fire rate, is nonetheless lethal and accurate at long range. This is according to the publisher’s description. By completing their respective in-game tasks or purchasing new store bundles that will become available later in the season, players can access the two weapons.

This season will see the addition of not one but two new Operators, namely Seraph and Rorke. Rorke is a former member of the marines who was taken prisoner while on a mission in Venezuela. Rorke is currently employed by the 54 Immortals, working alongside Seraph. As soon as the midseason update is up, the store will have the packs for both antagonists accessible for purchase. Additionally, fans of Call of Duty who pre-order Modern Warfare II will also have the opportunity to unlock Operator Khaled Al-Asad, who is the leader of the Al-Qatala.
