These two fan-favorite characters from Spider-Verse are arguably some of the coolest skins released by Epic, so yes, this is a big one.
The sole question we all have for every Fortnite finale or rumor is when. Players are already demanding a date, like @YassinNour46201, while Epic remains tight-lipped. The tweet, however, did not give an exact date for the release other than that it will be “soon.” And with Fortnite, soon could mean tomorrow or the next season. Classic Epic.

Battle Pass exclusives have become a curse, and players are just growing tired of missing out on skins just for not having played that specific season. Sure, throw in all the anime characters while you’re at it. @MyCrypt_ mentions Solo Leveling, One Punch Man, and Devil May Cry because apparently, Fortnite collaboration possibilities are unmatched.
Not to forget the madness from @WheatWunderluck, who replied with “WHO CARES NIGGA!!!!!!” following with an incoherent picture. The kind of vibes one gets every single time from Twitter. Meanwhile, @TheMitch_TMZ declared they have every Spider-Man skin in the game and now wants more related characters like MJ, Green Goblin, and Black Cat. That’s dedication.
So yeah, the Fortnite communal buzz has very good reasons behind it. While long overdue, Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 return needs to be again declared, being two of the classiest skins out there. Will Epic use the occasion of a larger Spiderverse event to launch them? Will they bring back old favorites like Gwen? Or will they toss them into the universe for an under-the-radar release thanks to all their ghosts? The time will provide the answer. But one thing’s for sure, as soon as they hit the Item Shop, there will be a serious drain on all Andersons’ wallets across the board. Time to start hoarding V-Bucks already.
