Imagine the hype now placed on the realm of a released third season of Marvel Rivals: The Abyss Awakens. The official Twitter page had teased the Phoenix Seven joining the game while running an extraordinary giveaway that had everybody scrambling for reposts and follows to gain entry for winning 1000 units. There are two days left till the season’s release, with the reply section showing that the community is split between excitement and skepticism and burning questions.

First on the list is art. It is one example for the players since Hit-Monkey For Marvel Rivals said it was hard. Some even went ahead and shouted “beautiful.” Then again, with art, its appeal is subjective as questions rose right away: Where’s Dark Phoenix Cyclops? Or why is Moon Knight, of all people, not part of the Phoenix Force group? Classic gamer behavior: hype straight into demands.

They then threw down the gauntlet on whether Marvel Rivals is the better one compared to Overwatch. I granted it, anybody seriously asking that question? That discussion would never cease until the servers are shut down for good. Some folks are all about the season looking “finna be fire,” while another bunch view the comic book storyline conflicts entering the game with suspicion. Then WreslinZone went and frittered off on how “abysmal writing” and “neverending copyandpaste comic storylines” are, which…ouch. But hey, at least it’s fun, eh?

More complaints about the gameplay are being heard. Xbox players continue to report Quick Play disconnects, while Ranked Mode desperately needs fixes. Then, there come the usuals-buff Human Torch, give Jean Grey float ability, and come on, when is crossplatform progression happening!? Nomad straight up asked if accounts ever will transfer between the two platforms, and honestly, we are all here for that.

10 winners will snatch 1000 units apiece, with Replies stuffed with hopefuls spewing comments like “hitted that follow” from Kayo Leno and others screaming HOPE I WIN!!! for the win. The vibes are chaotic, and honestly, we are here for it.

As for the actual season content, the Phoenix Seven roster includes Black Panther, Wolverine, Black Widow, Emma Frost, Namor, Iron Fist, and Magik. Some are now speculating about future skins, like a Phoenix Force Black Widow synergy, while others are still stuck on the “why is Namor wearing a shirt” question (valid question, tbh).

So yeah, Marvel Rivals Season 3 is going to be plenty of hype, salty entries, and desperate giveaways. Luring you in for the lore, the actual game itself, or the free sweet stuff, beneath it all is one undeniable truth: The Phoenix Force is hot, and the whole community is about to be even hotter because of it.

We will spend the next couple of days refreshing Twitter until July 25 to find out who the ten lucky ones will be. Good luck, guys!
