The Marvel Rivals Season 3.0 roadmap has released, and the community in gaming is all over such a bright horizon. New heroes, a new battle pass, a summer-themed event, and – can you believe it?- Johnny Storm flying through the skies with The Thing, dripping chaos and beach volleyball vibes! The update will be here on July 11, when they will conduct around two to three hours of maintenance; nail that date and perhaps go outside for a breath.
Let us just talk about skins, as frankly half of the responses are shrieking from the skins. The Fantastics Four will be receiving a First Step revamp, and just on sight, the community has gone berserk for the look of Sue Storm. One player dubbed it “gorgeous,” while another did ask for a beard for Mr. Fantastic because… reasons? Meanwhile, Elektra’s wireframe summer look is going to be something monetization will enjoy, with one player commenting, “I’m gonna be broke when these summer skins drop.” Same here, dude. Same.
It’s about the money because the team-ups themselves are messing with the meta. The Johnny-and-Thing aerial team-up has players simultaneously terrified and excited. Here’s a comment that perfectly shows the mess: “NOT THE TEAM UP BEING JOHNNY FLYING WITH THE THING!!!! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ’•💕💕” Yeah, that one is going to be a nightmare to balance. And speaking of balance, players are asking for harder matchmaking because of celestial stacks ruining their gold party. Devs, you hearing this?
Naturally, no roadmap reveal would go without those obligatory “WHERE’S [INSERT CHARACTER HERE]?” replies. Blade fans are still waiting, Magik stans are now threatening to sell their souls, and someone has now asked White Tiger after 205 days with glaring politeness. The dedication is real.
Summer event details are still locked away, but that teaser has gamers speculating.
Eight summer skins? More team-ups? Ultron mode surprise comeback? (One player seriously demands it back calling it “so fun.”) Hype train has left the station already.
What next? Servers go down on the 11th, updates go live, and then…chaos. Will you side with the symbiotes or fight against them? Anyways, for the ones that will unabashedly watch Johnny Storm throw The Thing onto enemies like he is a living meteor, it’s win-win.
Given the recent response, a wild ride is certainly what Marvel Rivals Season 3.0 looks to be. Or as one succinct player put it: “My dic is so hard right now ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ’•💕💕💕” …Well then.
