Marvel Rivals have reopened a new round of Twitch Drops, and this time, an incredible skin of Emma Frost is on offer. Sprays, nameplates, and emotes will be unlocked alongside the Will of Galacta skin as rewards for tuning in to your preferred Marvel Rivals streams. The event opens May 30 at 12 PM UTC and closes June 27 at 9 PM UTC, an ample window to grab what you want.
Twitch Drops, right? For a greenhorn or for the uninitiated, the Drops are basically free goodies for an in-game item that one gains just by watching the stream. Link your Marvel Rivals account to Twitch, surf the drop-popping channels, and shower yourself with rewards. That Emma Frost skin? Oh yes, it is far beyond your imagination. The White Queen shines so brilliantly with cosmic Galacta vibes that they will definitely freeze your opponents in their midst-if only you manage to pull this skin off.
This announcement surely caused some nice buzz among the community while some positioned themselves with salt, and others started calling for a balance rework right away. While @Heim4Brad went all-in hyping this Twitch event, stating, “THIS MIXED WITH THE ULTRON RELEASE IS CINEMA,” @Mansilla2000000 took an opportunity to complain about matchmaking: “Patch the cancer matchmaking system that makes this game unreasonably hard.” Oof. Tough.
Here come discussions about the Will of Galacta skins as well. Some players like @TomBradyEgo straightforwardly asked: “Does anyone ever use their Will of Galacta skins?” Answers were varied, some saying they max theirs for characters like Adam Warlock and Namor, while others called the recolors “trash.” Meanwhile, @AstralHelios was way too busy simping for Emma Frost to answer: begged the devs to “ask Ms. Frost to slay a little bit less.” Sorry about that, pal, she was meant to slay.
Incidentally, this random weirdness from the replies cannot be ignored. One player, @antieaulo, full caps screamed it out: “REVERT SYMBIOTE CHANGE U WILL KILL SPIDEY KILL DIVE NO SYMBIOTE IN A SPIDEY VENOM GAME BUT JEFF???? PLZ.” Uh…okay? Conversely, @berkanerol_ chimed. “Marvel Rivals Mobile, when?” because apparently, nowadays every game has to have a mobile version.
But hey, free is free, and @StormTaker_ says it best: “Free stuff is best stuff.” I don’t know about you, but with that logic, no one can disprove it. Whether it’s talking about cosmetics or watching the Marvel Rivals community go berserk through the replies, this Twitch Drop event is gonna get wild. Time to open some popcorn and set the sitzpatz while hoping to win that brand-new killer Emma Frost skin. Or at least one of those cool sprays one can use to flex at the homies.
