Well, Electrocutioners have just launched their latest edition of Art Vision, Vol. 03, allowing players to even look a little into the art of how the chosen characters are brought to Life for the game. The art team takes us through their entire creative journey from concept art all the way through applied VFX for the finishing touch. And honestly? It’s insane to see how much has been put into every single detail.

The PlayStation tweet gave a sneak peek behind the scenes were the team admitted feeling “honored” to be entrusted with bringing the characters to life. The developers kept on showing off their artistic abilities, while the users replying have… let’s say they have their opinions.

First and foremost, Merlin (@MerlinTfz) wasted no time demanding more game modes, such as Mystery Heroes, prop hunt, and better ranked systems. “The current path is not good,” came the sting, which… ouch. Then That Revenant Guy (@ThatRevenantGuy) was all about the horrible matchmaking, telling developers to just “explore your horrendous Matchmaking instead.” Harsh, but fair.

And you have your usual list of demands consisting of @heavenblitzer asking for the immediate release of Sabretooth, Colossus, and Iceman, @TheRr68481 urging more villains next season, and @dark_empire69 begging Kull to become playable. Marvel, are you guys listening?

In the meanwhile, things have developed. Segma (@JuanBarfield1) actually ranted about how these woke pride mobs are ruining character balance, specifically pointing at the Jeff rework, instantly sparking a reply in opposition by @ThatDoodPhoenix, “Jeff is the best he’s ever been. You just suck in every way.” Damn.

And then, @TheDickPickler? Well, they’d just want Iron Fist back because… he is the “tickle monster now.” Nothing more explained.

Amid the madness, however, some players genuinely relish the art deep dives as @devouring_gods simply states, “I love these videos,” a welcome change from the usual complaints. Then @Kingzoto769337 jokingly says that the team draws up all these cool concepts just to select the “basic” ones in the end.

So, what exactly is next for Marvel Rivals? Will the game see even more heroes? More villains? Better matchmaking? That’s a mystery. But what is undeniably apparent is that the people are invested. Whether it’s about the art or the balance changes they roast about, passion is plastered everywhere.

But for now, if you want to see how your favorite Marvel characters get from sketch to screen, then Art Vision Vol. 03 is worth a pick. Just hold off on the comments section unless you’re prepared for some drama.
