Rockstar Games struck a fresh torrent of chaos in GTA Online, and people are diving head first into it-if only after a short break to screech for GTA 6. The Community Series Jobs are out this week with seven insane modes offering triple rewards-from crazed Stunt Races to Team Deathmatch kind of sweat-bullet situations. But if you thought all the action is in the game, you haven’t been watching Rockstar’s tweet responses.

The update Rockstar has given arguably the best new ways to blow stuff up or race through it at 200mph; Community Series Jobs are pure mayhem concocted by players and Rockstar themselves, all with Triple Rewards to keep the lobbies filled. Stunt Races? Vehicle pathology at its very height. Deathmatches? Absolutely bedlam. Then there are the others… and during your third straight hour of gameplay, they will have you wondering if you made the right decisions in your life.

The mind feats Rockstar is unleashing upon GTA Online is being counterpointed by players screaming into the void about… well, just about everything else. The replies to that announcement tweet were a mixture of hype, feuding, and utter despair.

Many players are deep into the current living chaos. Felipe Sarievilo nailed it with his reply: “I recommend one of these burgers with a cold coke and playing GTA, it’s one of the 7 wonders of the world.” Really. GTA Online and junk food is an unbeatable combo.

Then the cross-play squadies surfaced: multiple comments, some of them from ILOVEUMACHINIST and TomatoMan45, begged Rockstar for their cross-play to finally be enabled. “Make GTA 5 Online cross play or just make it so I can play with PS4 players since I’m on PS5,” claimed one player. A fully reasonable ask, particularly as others big multiplayer titles have done so for years.

The real elephant in the room here, of course, is that of GTA 6. Oh boy, the GTA 6 comments. One player laid it out straight: “This still isn’t GTA 6 trailer 3.” Then another guy begged fully, “Just work on GTA 6 please.” Then came Yung Hurricane quite literally in all caps: “NEED TRAILER 3 AT SUMMER GAME FEST FOR GTA 6 #GTAVI #SummerGameFest @RockstarGames 🔥.” The hype is very real-but so is the impatience.

Meanwhile, the Turkish players obtain done with the #WeWantGTA6inTurkish hashtag. GTATurk posted a friendly message from some familiar faces to remind Rockstar that they exist. Localization matters, people.

Grievances, though. And the grievances. One cluster of players is calling god mode glitches: “When y’all gonna patch the god mode Corvette?”, begging for DLC info: “Where is the dlc news man”, and even some minor fixes: “Bring zr380 without armor as a tunable car.” Another disgruntled player said: “Does Rockstar do anything about God mode griefers? Spent the last hour and a half in passive reporting them and nothing has happened.” Oof.

So, yes, while the latest update for GTA Online is a blast, or maybe just literally, a lot is on the minds of those in the community. Triple Rewards sure are nice; bigger fish-to-fry await.

#1. Cross-play

#2. GTA 6

#3. Fixes for very long-term issues

And, apparently, a cold coke and a burger to go with the madness.

A lot goes on in Rockstar studios; they are juggling quite a few big issues at once, and the community will be paying attention to every single one. Until then? Go on, jump into those Stunt Races, and fill your pockets. Just maybe steer clear of that god mode Corvette.
