Behaviour Interactive, Beijing Gaea Interactive Entertainment, and HBO announced a new mobile game based on the series Game of Thrones. The mobile title, Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall, didn’t reveal much information during the official announcement last year.

Months later, the game now has an official launch date, a new trailer, plus a few pre-registration bonuses.

Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is free-to-play but has in-app purchases. The game is an officially licensed product of series.

“48 years before the events of the Game of Thrones TV show, Lord Commander Brynden Rivers, better known as “Bloodraven,” disappeared while ranging beyond the Wall. Now it’s your turn to take command of the Night’s Watch.” states the Play Store description.

In this original story set in the world of Game of Thrones, players will command the Night’s Watch. Characters from the series include Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Jaime Lannister, Melisandre, Tormund Giantsbane, and more. Each has additional costumes players can collect. For fans of the tv show, the characters in-game are modeled on their on-show appearances.

Players can recruit characters from the Known World to aid their quest. The fighters include Crossbowmen from The Westerlands, Scoundrels from King’s Landing, Spearmen from Dorne, and Exotic fighters from The Free Cities.

The official website has some additional information about the game, including spotlights on specific characters like Jon Snow.

Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall includes PvP elements so players can fight against others using their favorite heroes and custom squads.

When the game was announced, the publisher planned for a September 2019 release time frame, including lacing the game up for pre-registration on both the App Store and Play Store. These listings were eventually taken down with no other news regarding the game.

Now players can pre-register on the platform of their choice. The milestones start at one million pre-registrations. The first milestone is for 10 Shards of Daenerys, followed by 10 Carved Glyphs at 1.5 million. At 2 million, players will receive 90 shards of Jon Snow, and at 3 million, they will receive 100.

If the game reaches these pre-registration milestones, then everyone will get the bonuses at launch. Pre-registration is free and notifies users when the game is ready for download.

Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall releases on iOS on March 26 and Android on April 3.
