Forza Horizon 5 went dark upon the conclusion of the Horizon Realms update just a few days later, and the internet is currently losing its mind. The replies, in this case, are where the real fun lies. And boy, are there any replies.
“Some folks are already into troubles,” WaifuHat_ said: “I can’t update my game 🙁 this happens only with FH5.” Oof. There was also Cocorico banking on a nice surprise after tweeting: “ohhh and I thought it was tomorrow!” I guess the devs blessed us with an early surprise. Just not everyone got to be happy about it: Saucetin (aka AustinStraws) tweeted, “Why do we have to wait another 12 hours still? Just release the game. Why do you have to compete with Days Gone Remaster?” Chill, bro. It’s coming.
Then, of course, the PlayStation crowd is feeling a little bit bloated about not being able to get in there. Lee Foster just said it: “Shame PlayStation players can’t play till tomorrow.” Yeah, those exclusivity windows REALLY hurt, huh? But look at Xbox and PC players tonight; eat good.
Some others are hyped, though. Kris (ightCheetah) tweeted, “I CANT WAIT,” along with a hype GIF, stating this is their first Forza Horizon game ever. Welcome to madness, good bro. Gengar bby (avianoir) straight-up stated: “Excited for this!” Same, fam. Same.
But, as always, those updates seem to share in some here-and-there wishing. I mean, Rory Gallagher fanboy2112 (Im_credible) is begging, “Will you please allow us to put drift suspension on trucks and SUVs? PLEASE!” Then Andy CR (Andy_King_88) is ‘Physical version for PS5 please!!’ because apparently not to be digital is now a sin.
Some odd specifics were also given. Antonis Gravvity K. (AntonisGravvity) asked, “Do you plan to support DualSense on PC Game Pass?” This is actually a really good question. Then Diego Braz (deogovakin) remarked about the absence of Portuguese for Brazil, which- yeah, that’s a tad whack for a worldwide release.
The conspiracy theorists would be another addition. PolishCarsFanV2 (Mr. Calsise) had a clear assumption: “the update went live 4 minutes ago. how much cheaters are there on the leaderboard already.” Dude, give it at least an hour.
Who is winning all of this? TechHeadHD2 (Tech – Professional Unprofessional) threw in a joke about forever waiting for the update download. To which Forza Horizon replied, saying, “It will all be worth it.” W for customer service.
So, yes, here we are. Horizon Realms reached today-state; as always, it is a beautiful mess of hype, complaints, and random demands from the Forza community. Will it deliver? Probably. Will people still find stuff to nitpick? Absolutely. But for now, start your engines and let the Realms reveal what they are.
