Well well well; the collaboration skins have returned to the shop after an agonizing 250 days of absence from the Fortnite Item Shop! Fancy luminous light-up tributes to Neon-channeling from Epic Games Cosmetics? If you’ve been holding out to have your character gorgeously attired in the stylish light-up suits, now is the time to go ahead. But, uh… not everybody is happy about it.
The tweet by ShiinaBR from one of the biggest of Fortnite leaks and updates exploded with reactions, and the vibes… well, they are mixed. Some crowd to the positive on this drop-the really loud applause that goes: “I love TRON ❤️”; many are throwing side glances at this drop. Where is Street Fighter?
The comment section is somewhere near a cemetery for “Cool, but where is Ryu?” and “We wanted Street Fighter, not this garbage.” One user even answered to ShiinaBR, “What the fuck is this shit?” What a way to go, really.
But, anyhow… If you do happen to be an actual TRON fan, the glowy suits and bikes, along with an aesthetic that feels like you are inside a computer (because, well, you kind of are in the TRON universe), are out now in the Item Shop. ShiinaBR has also given out their creator code (“Shiina,” in case you forgot) so that you can support them while purchasing the gear.
Well, those hopes for Street Fighter… they’re not going to die down. With the anniversary event fast approaching, the demand for Chun-Li, Ryu, and the gang has become more and more critical. Some are still hopeful for tomorrow’s shop update, crossing their fingers like “Just hope we get Street Fighter tomorrow for the anniversary event 🤞.”
Meanwhile, others are still waiting for Attack on Titan (“Not buying anything from the item shop till AOT comes back”) or Ash Williams from Evil Dead (“Is Ash Williams coming back or were you wrong?”). Yeah, this struggle is real.
Then, there are even some OG types. One straight-up demanded: “an OG style or a refund 🤡,” while another expressed their grief: “I want the OG Tron movie skins. Why did Fall Guys get them but we got these.” Oof.
So, yeah, TRON is back. Some are happy. Others are very vocal about what they want instead. And then the remainder? Well, these are just sitting and wondering when Epic is going to bring the next big collab that actually gets everyone excited.
Will Street Fighter finally make its grand return? Will AOT fans get their Levi skin? The Item Shop shall tell in due time. For now, anyone here for those glowy suits and digital bikes? Go wild. If not, then… maybe come back tomorrow.
