Are you Fortnite players ready for the unpredictable turmoil that Season 3 has in store? Thanks to a recent leak from renowned leaker SpushFNBR, two “Mythic” items were supposedly added: an intriguing Tracking Visor and Dual Pistols. Chaos of this type appears to be what the community wants, judging at the response so far.
First up is the Tracking Visor. And just the name is already stirring speculation with the players. Will it highlight enemies through walls? Track their footsteps like the Predator? Regardless of what it actually is, everyone thinks it is OP already. @xpert_growth put it well, “That visor sounds OP-can’t wait to try these out.” @YourFavWhiteMex jokingly added, “People are gonna cry about this one,” and honestly, those people will probably end up crying. The Fortnite community tends to love and hate anything that messes up the meta, and this looks to be a major one.
Next, we have the Dual Pistols. They’re returning, and the hype about it has already begun. Some, like @CornCricke46319, have already declared it “firrrrreeee🔥🔥” while others debate whether it’ll be OP or just trash. Either way, dual wielding is here to stay, and that outrage is enough to make some happy.
Setting aside the typical “leak-based” excitement and doubt, some, including @CodyCain20, are seeing backlash, “I can see it now NERF THESE, THEY RUIN THE GAME, THEY’RE TOO WEAK, THEY’RE TOO STRONG Etc.” Uh, of course. It’s forever that razor-thin line with Fortnite, and the introduction of new weapons certainly throws another balancing act onto the pile.
But the real question, of course: When the heck are we gonna play with these? Some, like @Kjelt20, think after the live event; others are just grateful that they’ve asked Epic to release this season early with how much has been leaky (@yaboyCNFBK laid it out kindly: “Whole season is getting leaked bro they might as well give it to us early 😔).
And with that, there’s that live event drama—reports of matchmaking errors trying to join coming in from players like @Marcy_Wavee. Classic launch-day Fortnite drama.
Now, one thing is for sure: Season 3 is gonna be a wild ride. Either the Tracking Visor breaks the game or the Dual Pistols become the next big meta, and players will just move on with “adapt or die,” as @mmggshin put it so perfectly.
