Now, Fortnite players, strap yourselves in because Chapter 6 is about to exit with a gigantic bang-and bugs galore. According to fresh leaks from trusted insider HYPEX, Season 4 will be the final and longest season of Chapter 6, with elements pertaining to an alien/bug invasion, followed by a big event, six mid-season updates, and an early-November end-date. And just when you thought it can’t get any stranger, they officially drop a Simpsons mini-season straight after. Yes, I did say that.
First, the alien/bug invasion. This ain’t no small-scale affair…the whole of Epic has thrown in its weight on it. The leaks boast of items such as a Super Launch Pad (as though usual launch pads weren’t enough!) and a Bugs Gauntlet, which may well be a new sort of weapon or melee equipment. Expect absolute chaos. Is this some sort of tie-in to Last Reality, or does it even represent a new threat? Then again, with three months, there is ample time for this invasion to bloom.
But wait, there’s more! Directly after Season 4, Fortnite will start dipping its toes in a Simpsons mini-season. Now, that is going to divide opinions. Some are absolutely hyped… Just imagine running around as Homer with a pickaxe that looks like a giant donut! The others remain in disbelief. One player even said, “How would a Simpsons season even work? It’d probably be terrible.” Indeed, a good point. The Simpsons have hardly been known for their battle royale capabilities. But, hey, if Epic pulled off a banana in a suit, they should be able to make this work too. Maybe.
The leaks do bring forth an endless suite of questions. Is Chapter 6 probably the shortest chapter ever? (Ah, most probably so.) Will there be human Bill styles? (Fingers crossed.) Then something far more important: are the graphics going to be wack? (According to one player, yes.) There are also weird rumors about collabs because one player was wishing for a Solo Leveling collab where Beru is the secret skin. That…would be insane. And amazing.
There are some players who seem tired of these four-season chapters. “Can we get a chapter with at least six or eight seasons?” another said. Honestly, mood. But since Chapter 6 is drawing to a close, it looks like Epic is sticking to their formula-at least for now.
So what’s next? Well, if indeed to be believed, the next couple of months seem to be insanely busy! Alien bugs, Super Launch Pads, and then…Springfield? A ride for sure. So, whether it was the lore or the chaos or just curiosity about how a Simpsons season works that brought you here-One thing is for sure: Fortnite is not going to slow.
