Avengers: Endgame has been out since last Friday. It was one of the most anticipated movies, let alone superhero movies, of all time. It’s smashing it at the box office right now with a total of $1.2 billion in sales. That’s simply incredible. \nThe popular battle royale game Fortnite paid tribute to the movie leading up to its release. The Endgame mode pits evil vs. good. If you’re on the good side, you get to wield some of the most iconic weapons in Marvel history. These include Iron Man’s pulse shooters and Captain America’s shield. \nThe evil side gives you the chance to play as Thanos. The first person that retrieves an Infinity Stone instantly becomes the all-powerful purple titan. From that point on, it’s your job to collect all of the Infinite Stones like what’s portrayed in Avengers: Infinity War. \nSince this mode has been out, fans have raved about how much fun it is to act out the movies in a video game. This epic action has been lacking in a lot of games lately. It’s nice to see the developers of Fortnite — Epic Games — do something phenomenal for Marvel and Fortnite fans. \nFortnite is already one of the most successful video games of all time. The combat is great and the building mechanics require a lot of strategy. This Endgame mode just revs up the intense action even more. \nYou can battle it out with your friends. Will good prevail or will evil dominate the galaxy? Anything is possible in this mode, and it’s just taking Fortnite to new heights if you can believe that. \nControlling Thanos is one of the best experiences you can have in a video game right now. He’s virtually indestructible. His laser capabilities will have you taking down player after player. \nA great design the developers did with this mode is letting everyone experience Thanos. If you’re on the evil side and die as Thanos, someone else on the same side will become him. It keeps things fresh, ensuring everyone gets to experience all of the epic power that Thanos possesses. \nThe weapons on the good side are also incredible. Wielding Captain America’s shield just feels so right. It's super effective at defending against enemy fire. \nThe action is so incredibly overwhelming at times, but it’s always fun. It does seem like the action is slanted towards Thanos’ side. His villains outweigh the heroes by a lot. \nStill, the mode is a great change of pace. If you haven’t had the chance to play it yet, there’s a whole lot of epic action to look forward to. Who knows what Epic Games will come up with next?
