Some of Marvel’s intentions for Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been made public.
Phase 6 will start with Fantastic Four and culminate with two new Avengers films, dubbed Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, as revealed at the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The conclusion of Phase 6 will conclude the second tale of the MCU, which Marvel also announced and is now known as The Multiverse Saga.
Additionally, we found that the Fantastic Four movie from Marvel Studios will hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Following closely behind will be Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which will hit theaters on May 2, 2025. Just six months later, on November 7, 2025, Avengers: Secret Wars would be released in theaters. The Epic Saga of the MCU is known as Phases 1-3, and we now know that Phases 4-6 are known as The Multiverse Saga. She-Hulk and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever mark the end of Phase 4, which means that November 2022 through November 2024 will be the focus of initiatives under Phase 5. With the release of Thunderbolts, a new film starring a villainous team that is poised to disrupt the MCU, Phase 5 will come to a close in the summer of 2024.
We’ll have to wait and watch how The Multiverse Saga’s upcoming initiatives connect everything. We argued that Phase 4 of the MCU needs a specific objective after the release of Thor Love and Thunder.

Kang the Conqueror has been hinted at as being the MCU’s newest villain for some time. In the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Kang will take on a new look after initially making an appearance in the Loki Disney+ series. After a few disastrous pre-MCU film adaptations, Marvel confirmed that the Fantastic Four plot would be revisited in 2020. Director of the MCU Spider-Man trilogy Jon Watts took over the project at first, but he later left, claiming he “needed a break from the superhero universe.” John Krasinski played Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after years of fan casting, but Marvel had never committed to the Office star playing the part permanently.
