Mediatonic has just released a new update for Fall Guys entitled Blunderbeach Bonanza to welcome gamers rushing into chaos. The update has three rounds of four new levels that are set on a bright beach to relieve wobbly physics and hilarious fails Fall Guys is known for.
The official Fall Guys account kept it simple yet effective. The tweet simply said: “To the beach!” with all the info below it. The players, by the way, had A LOT to say about it. Some were very excited; some alternatives, and some: wanted to know why Chonkert the bean is somehow floating in the middle of the ocean, classic Fall Guys energy altogether.
Right away, theyy good vibes came streaming in. FFA_Bean called it rewardable with a W UPDATE and said FALL GUYS IS FUN AGAIN. RoRoMania23 showed some love towards the devs for that little switch 2 boost in perf, saying it’s so well done now. Long-time player legibifou expressed excitement for the new rounds, wishing for more updates like the older seasonal drops.
Of course, not everyone was 100% satisfied. Anonimo199646 pointed out that four new levels might not be enough to sustain players over time by noting, “playing the same maps becomes boring.” Graphicf4rt had a slightly higher-priority complaint—VolleyFall is apparently bugged, forcing them to quit the game every time it pops up. Oof.
That uprising of passion settled over the entire debate regarding creative mode. BeanyTheCool and joaoc_fgfb_2024 entered a back-and-forth concerning obstacle customization, with João arguing the tools are too limited and Beany saying they’re fine. It got heated—João even accused players like Beany of being the reason the game “doesn’t change.” Yikes.
Then there were the people who gave clear asks that made Jaba_FG plead softly for a new loading screen; EthanHath_ maybe truly meant it when he asked for the Fall Guys pass to be added to Fortnite Crew; dgjrsr wanted to know if ranked squads would ever be a thing. Then we had Jaxerex just wanting to create life for their “tertle” decoration by tying it to the movement controller. Priorities.
The performance chats began. GeoLazer69420 praised the 60 FPS uncapped for Switch 2 but went on to trash any sort of dedicated Switch 2 edition. Then vanished Seahuman1745 with that awkwardly funny question as to why Chonkert is “in the middle of the ocean.” Still no answers, just a lot of Curious.
Generally speaking, Blunderbeach Bonanza could go down as one for the books, though some players wanted more. For wobbly physics, or new levels, or just beans flopping into the water, Fall Guys certainly serves up more fun. Alright, beach blundering calls!
