Season 11 in Fortnite is quickly approaching. There isn’t an official release date, but it is expected to hit sometime in October. Before that time comes, though, Season 10 is still alive and kicking. It will be available for an additional week too thanks to the feedback that Epic Games has received as of late.

With this extension, an event called Out of Time is being offered. It is great if you want to complete challenges to earn rewards, such as cosmetics, XP, and even a commemorative loading screen. Everything else is pretty much the same. If you haven’t played Fortnite in a while, Season 10 brought a lot of content and improvements.

One of the most noteworthy additions was a mech suit known as B.R.U.T.E. It’s a massive mech suit much like what you’ve seen in other video games. It’s the perfect way to move about the map, while having access to some heavy-duty firepower. The vehicle even supported two players, which is amazing when shielding a partner from enemy fire. Not only that, but the mech suit can be used to stomp enemies, jump high in the air, and dash throughout the stage. Everyone has raved about this vehicle addition.

Season 10 also saw the addition of some amazing Rift Zones. They blended old and new locations in the map, which was great for players who’ve been around this battle royale game since the beginning. Some of the featured locations are fan-favorites and bring a bit of nostalgia upon seeing them. One said location was Dusty Depot, which originally got destroyed by a meteor in Season 3.

Those were pretty much the main highlights of Season 10, but there were a few other updates that happen pretty much with every season. For example, all of the campfires were adjusted to heal vehicles. The Boogie Bombs and Grenades also were adjusted in that they can no longer go through vehicles.

All in all, Season 10 was an incredible season filled with impactful updates. It’s going to be sad seeing it come to an end, quite honestly. Players have so many memories and fun experiences to look back upon. Fortunately, Epic Games is giving its loyal fanbase a couple of more days to enjoy all of its greatness. Now’s the time to jump in on the action before it’s too late.

As far as Season 11, fans can expect some major improvements and some incredible features that are worth looking forward to.
