Harrowstorm is free for members of the ESO Plus program, or available in the in-game Crown Store for purchase with the game’s premium currency, Crowns. The following additions are coming with the DLC pack:

  • Two new four-player dungeons: Icereach and Unhallowed Grave
  • The beginning for the year-long Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline
  • New rewards, including unique achievements and collectibles
  • All-new PvP collectibles
  • A variety of new performance improvements

Icereach puts a party to task investigating the mysterious origin of a supernatural storm destroying Skyrim’s northern coast, destroying the livelihoods of the native Nords. Traveling to the barren island of Icereach, players will confront the witches of the Icecreach Coven to stop their ritual before the storm consumes Skyrim entirely.

In the Unhallowed Grave, beneath the sands of Bangkorai, players will explore the ancient remnants of a long-forgotten evil guarded by the crypt’s last guardians. Now being used as a den for a band of Necromancers and monsters, it’s up to the explorers to storm the Unhallowed Grave, defeat the mercenaries, and uncover the secrets at the heart of the invasion.

Both of these dungeons can be attempted on both Normal and Veteran difficulties, as well as a Veteran Hard Mode option for those that want a true challenge. Within these dungeons, players can earn new item sets, collectibles, and achievements.

Those that are more than willing to take on the challenges within Harrowstorm could also go for the Collector’s Bundle, which is available for 4,000 crowns. This bundle includes the DLC itself, as well as the Hallin’s Jackal Pet, the Pyre Watch Jackal Mount, and five Crown Experience Scrolls.

If you’re interested in jumping straight into the Dark Heart of Skyrim questline, you have a few different methods of confronting the challenge. Players begin this quest by entering either Icereach or Unhallowed Grave, and can use whatever method they wish to enter them so that the questline can begin. You can teleport directly into the two dungeons from the map, or use the Dungeon Finder tool. There’s also the old fashioned way of walking to the dungeon entrances in the Bangkorai for UNhallowed Grave, or northern Wrothgar for Icereach.

The Harrowstorm is alive and well, so get ready to take on the new challenges while you work to save Skyrim!
