The top-secret Nintendo leak is good enough to fuel the gamers with anticipation. So what will go down tomorrow? The world is melting at the very thought of the release. Nintendo America Twitter teased the release with an easy-to-remember yet good message: “Tomorrow, we BANANZA!” accompanied by a link to pre-order. The replies, of course, are absolute mayhem.

First, this hype is the real deal. Someone named JPipo86 tweeted, “Paid and ready for pick up tomorrow with the amiibo! BANANZA! 👊🏻,” while some others were “literally goat-crying” over the delay: “I messed up and pre-ordered through GameStop and I have to wait until Saturday 😭.” Oof. Rough break, my dude.

Waiting kills some of the hype; some take matters into their own hands. “Switch 2 is currently a paper weight till better games come out,” NotARealUser69 threw in with a lot of sass. Ouch. Ashley Cummings, aka Jadenfire, is just out there begging for another Animal Crossing: “Def not me..still hoping for a new Animal Crossing game or idk a decent large update to Animal Crossing New Horizons…” Girl, same.

Then you find the oddball responses all across the board. KuddleGamer delivered the strangest excuse: “Nintendo bricked my switch 2 because I took too many bathroom breaks in one week and that violated section 591-14A of the EULA.” Uh… what? Either he’s trolling all the way, or Nintendo’s terms of service are going to get REALLY specific.

Then comes the meme lords. The hype was layered by OfficialSpyPvp: “first we donkey, then we kong. LETS DONKEY KONG.” Directly behind him comes Blaze with the classic: “DK DONKEY KONG IS HERE” complimented by an ultra-hype GIF. What a vibe.

Then there’s the naysayers. ThatGenericEric: “Damn man. Even your ads are in 320p.” Nintendo, my guy, those pixels need a good upgrade.

But what the hell is Donkey Kong Bananza anyway? Nintendo goes (as usual) stubbornly silent; however, the firm name certainly is a promise for mayhem, bananas, and barrel-throwing galore. And judging by the reaction, players might very well have taken the plunge or dropped off within.

So, what’s the verdict? If you’re a DK fan, this is your day. Otherwise, maybe wait for that Animal Crossing update. Either way, this game will get the internet all crazy.

And hey, in case you’re still wondering, Donkey Kong has been doing this since the ’80s. So maybe give it a try. Or don’t. But, either way, Bananza’s coming. Ready or not.
