Disney Mirrorverse will contain characters from various Disney and Pixar properties together in one world. Not much is known about the project so far. Mirrorverse will have players recruiting characters from the Disney and Pixar universe from an unknown land. The story is a reimagining of characters from several series. Evil is attempting to take over the alternate reality. Before players can fight the ultimate evil, they have to recruit characters from all over, which includes preparing for battle. From the scarce details so far, it sounds like players will be taken to different alternate worlds on their long journey to save the Mirrorverse. “Disney Mirrorverse represents a brave reimagining of iconic Disney and Pixar characters and stories, and we’re delighted to be working with Kabam to bring this original universe to life for players,” said Sean Shoptaw, SVP, Games and Interactive Experiences at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products in a press release. “This stunning new adventure will appeal to Disney fans and die-hard RPG fans alike, and we can’t wait to show players what’s on the other side of the Stellar Mirror.” The game may sound similar to another alternative reality universe using Disney characters: Kingdom Hearts. For this new project, Disney appears to be sticking with characters already part of their world, including from Pixar. There's no information on who the player will control, either as a customizable character or an existing one. More information, including the release date, will likely be released closer to the game's launch. One country will get the opportunity to try out the game first. Regional beta testing starts soon for Disney Mirrorverse, but only in the Philippines.
