Hang on there, demon hunters, because Diablo IV just opened the floodgates of exciting content, and everyone is abuzz within. Belial himself, the Lord of Lies, has come up yet again-in a brutal battle-the whole thing takes place during Season 8 and targets the Twitch streamer Cliptis-ahead of his challenger. That’s right: The Lord himself will challenge the big bad to a fight, and Cliptis better be on point as they square off for survival.

What’s up with them? Well, the new, mrassy Diablo IV season that Blizzard just released stormed open this valiant souls’ lair and Belial won’t look at anything else while awaiting players to come to his cave. No. He just basically started calling Chiptis to prove his worth in probably one of this season’s most exciting battles. And the best part? You could view it live over Twitch.

Now, if anyone’s living under a rock or simply avoiding the endless grind of Sanctuary, seasons in Diablo IV continue to be new with exciting challenges, loot, and of course, wicked bosses. Here comes Belial, the headliner of Season 8, and is really pretty much more of the same. Well known for his mind games and torturing mechanics, this fight isn’t for the faint of heart.

Cliptis is one of the famous streamers in Diablo, making a name for himself by being desired for something beyond what he could hardly tell. But now, Belial? That’s an entirely different kind of burning pain. The Lord of Lies thrives on wholly deceptive manners, and his fight is notorious in two phases that appear a little too frenetic and downright punishing mechanics. I mean, assuming you even get that far, it’s checkpoint back because you made a wrong move.

This is really the hype. Already, the crowds have started speculating whether Cliptis would take the win, or if this meant Belial had another fallen warrior to his collection. Let’s face it-a premier player fighting off one of Diablo’s most infamous bosses is just peak entertainment.

Even if you don’t play hardcore, now is a pretty good time to see all that Season 8 has, new loot, new mechanics, and of course, warped mind games courtesy of Belial. Maybe it’s just enough that it’ll tempt you back in to try some stuff out yourself. Or just sit there and enjoy the carnage from the safety of your couch.

Mark those calendars, and prepare. Belial’s waiting; Cliptis steps up; who’s standing at the end? There’s only one way to find out-live in action.
