In Destiny 2 each week brings what is known to the community as the weekly reset. Each Tuesday certain world activities, rewards, and quests reset so that new loot is available. This also means players who have maxed out their powerful gear rewards have new incentives to return and grind out light levels.
The first and perhaps most important reset is a new Nightfall The Ordeal activity available. This week, the Broodhold strike is in rotation which adds some variety to the list. Grinding out this Nightfall will not net an exclusive drop, unfortunately, but the increased chance for exotic engrams still stands.
The regular Nightfalls this week, however, bring plenty of opportunities for exclusive rewards. The Pyramindian drops the Silicon Neuroma Sniper Rifle and the Garden World can drop the Wavefunction ship. Even more importantly, players still needing the Horror’s Least pulse rifle for the Cursebreaker title can farm the Corrupted Nightfall until the next reset.
As for overworld activities, the flashpoint this week is on Titan. Some players have pointed out an interesting note about the world vendor Sloan, but that is a story for another time. Meanwhile, the wandering nightmare Nightmare of Horkis, Fear of Mithrax can be battled in the Anchor of Light on the Moon.
Other Moon activities like the Nightmare Hunts of Fear, Isolation, and Rage are also available. Additionally, the Trove Guardian can also be found in the Anchor of Light area, making plenty of incentive for guardians to check it out.
There are also various Bosses that can be hunted down until they are rotated out next week. The Menagerie Boss is named Pagouri and is a Vex Hydra. For Reckoning, the boss is the Likeness of Oryx. finally, the Escalation Protocol Boss is Kathok, Roar of Xol, and can drop the IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.1 submachine gun.
Over at the Dreaming City, guardians can help Petra battle back the Growing Curse while she hangs out at the Divalian Mists. The Oracle Engine quest is available, alongside the Cimmerian Garrison Ascendant Challenge over at the Chamber of Starlight. Finally, the Blind Well Plague for the week is Cragur.
Last but not least, for the PvP fans there are new rotational playlists currently available. Clash and Lockdown are both in the running this week, making it a solid one for those looking to undertake some Crucible activities.
There you have all of the information for this weekly reset. As always, players can look forward to Xur making an appearance on Friday, and then next week the cycle continues with yet another reset.
