Listen up, Guardians, Bungie just set off the loot alarm for Destiny 2, so make sure your eyes and ears are open, or you’ll be losing out. This is among the last Twitter announcements the Destiny team made today regarding stuff that aims to fill your inventory-great gear, bright dust, and enhancement prisms.
Basically, if you back the Capitan of the Vanguard, the Crucible guy, and the Drifter as far as their ritual pathfinders are concerned, they will shower you with loot as if it is a crazy bargain. So what is this ritual pathfinder? Doesn’t matter really. A good way to put it is just “do their bounties and activities, get some loot.” Easy, right?
Oh, except-wait. There wasn’t any media attached-surely the link above leads somewhere to TWAB or possible patch notes. Classic Bungie; showers the blatant hint at us and withholding everything else. But surely, if you had recently logged in and were playing Destiny 2, you know the pinnacle gear is good loot for any power caps, and bright dust? That just gets you looking all pretty while not spending some real cash.
Oddly enough, though…there are ZERO replies to this tweet. None. Zilchity-zero. Strange, considering that Destiny players typically have opinions about everything. Maybe for once, they were too busy actually playing the game instead of complaining on Twitter? Or maybe the tweet just went live, so hang on for a flood of responses starting with ‘Bungie, plz’?
Whichever it is, this is the bright light for any of you that play Destiny 2 to log in, pick bounties, and farm. Because let’s be honest: when did Bungie ever make loot easy to get? So take the W while you can.
And if you are now sitting there saying, “Well, I don’t even play Destiny 2,” well…why not? The game is in a very good state right now, and with that, free loot is free loot. Just putting it out there.
So that’s basically it; go get your gear before Bungie decides to go and nerf their drop rates for whatever reason. Because they will. Always.
Enhanced prisms? Now that’s money for upgrading armor. Don’t overlook that. Back to the grind. See you in the Crucible-maybe. If I’m not busy hoarding bright dust.
