E3 officially kicks off next week and is shaping up to be quite an exciting event. There is one company that is noticeably absent, however. That is, of course, PlayStation. Sony has elected to skip this year’s E3, but that doesn’t mean they’re holding back on announcements and incredible savings.

In fact, Days of Play is currently underway for PlayStation users. This annual event gives gamers that chance to save up to 70% off on their favorite titles. It lasts for about a week, and in that time, there are so many great savings to be had.

Some games are as low as $9.99. These include The Last of Us, LittleBigPlanet 3, and several Uncharted games. These are incredible titles certainly worth these huge discounts.

The Last of Us is quite possibly one of the best PlayStation games of all time. It features a compelling story about a young girl, Ellie, and a man, Joel. Their story intersects as some sort of virus has broken out, turning everyone they know into zombies.

Its gameplay is extremely smooth and easy to jump into, even if you have no prior experience with first-person action-adventure games.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is an amazing platformer that features so many quirky levels. Its visuals are some of the best you can find in this type of genre. You also have so many ways to customize your cute little characters. It’s certainly a must-have game to include in the collection if you don’t own it already.

The Uncharted games are so iconic and full of adventure. Their storylines are pretty gripping thanks to the talented developers at Naughty Dog Studios. Every time an Uncharted game comes out, there’s a new story and enemies for Nathan Drake to conquer.

These great games are just a few going on sale right now thanks to PlayStation’s Days of Play event. It’s great that Sony is continuing this event despite missing this year’s E3. It just goes to show you that they’re always striving to give their loyal fans value.

In addition to huge savings on games, Days of Play enables PlayStation users the ability to save on PlayStation Plus. It’s an incredible service that is now $20 off for a 12-month subscription. It’s key for PS users looking to save money on major titles.

Again, this incredible event won’t last forever. If you’re looking to build up your PlayStation library or play something new for cheap, don’t miss out on Days of Play.
