Well, you’ve sped through all of Days Gone Remastered’s main campaign. Good for you! But no, the fun isn’t over yet. Bend Studio packed so many post-game goodies into this open-world zombie nightmare that you can stick around in the apocalypse a little longer for it. One of these goodies just happens to be plucked straight from Syphon Filter nostalgia. Because why not, right?

So first off, the stun gun. If you’ve been with PlayStation since the beginning, you probably know Syphon Filter; that stealth-action series where you tased dudes into catching fire (thanks to some physics?) well-Days Gone Remastered’s cheeky Easter egg for the fans-a stun gun-is mere affection for Gabe Logan’s iconic weapon.

To unlock the toy, you have to complete some post-game tasks, and trust us, it is worth it. Nothing says “I respect the classics” like shooting Freakers with this weird weapon from a whole different franchise.

It’s sad that there are more things to stick around for. Days Gone, after finishing the game, hurls more missions at you, hordes, and collectibles. Did you forget about some NERO checkpoints? Put Deacon to the test. Want to clear out every last Freaker nest? Knock yourself out. New bike upgrades and new weapons? Certainly! More spikes, please!

Let’s not forget about hordes, though. Ohhhh, the hordes. Surely, you recall just how big the swarms get in the main story? Now, just wait for the post-game hordes; they are bigger, meaner, and much more into making you panic sprint straight into a tree. But isn’t that the fun of it? Nothing screams survival horror quite like barely staggering out with a measly 2% health and absolutely no ammo from a single wave of the undead.

So, don’t hit the power button the moment the credits start rolling. Days Gone Remastered has a variety of post-game offerings, whether you are wanting to complete it all or thrill-kill some zombies with some nostalgia-baited weaponry. Now go out there, wipe out hordes, upgrade that ride, and try not to get eaten. Again.
