The game to look out for in 2020 for a lot of people is Cyberpunk 2077. It’s showing so much potential in a lot of departments, including Night City as an open world, augments that players can customize to their liking for their created character, and an epic story filled with corruption and greed.

Unfortunately, fans looking to experience this in-depth and detailed RPG have had to wait quite a while. CD Projekt Red — the game’s developer — has had to push back its release several times. The most recent reason was because they wanted to complete the finishing touches in efforts to give players a truly re-defining experience.

Now Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release November 19, 2020. Although that’s still quite a bit a ways off, at least the developer has done their best to keep interests high with their Night City Wire livestream events. We’ve already been treated to one episode that showcased some gameplay and environments that will be in Night City.

The next episode is scheduled for next week, August 10. There are many more details the developer has plans of revealing during this livestream, such as how lifepaths can shape out. When players create their character referred to as V, they will have the choice of deciding how they start out and the type of lifestyle they want.

It will be intriguing to see how the different lifepaths play out and how they ultimately affect the story. CD Projekt Red has included so many branching points for how everything can play out and the lifepaths give gamers even more choices to make.

In addition to lifepaths, this next Night City Wire event also will disclose some information on some of the weapons players will be able to get their hands on. Some of them look particularly unique based on gameplay footage that has come out since the game was announced several years ago.

You can bet CD Projekt Red has included a lot of diversity, whether you want to go in with a powerful machine gun or play the long game with an advanced sniper rifle. It will be nice to finally have a breakdown of some of these weapons.

Finally, the next episode will feature more on the anti-establishment rock band known as Samurai, which is led by Johnny Silverhand. Episode 2 couldn’t come soon enough. There are still so many layers CD Projekt Red can peel back about Cyberpunk 2077, which they probably will in the coming months.
