Ever since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a significant amount of its player base has been asking for more custom loadouts. This has also been an issue in previous COD games, but unlike with past titles, it looks like the developers are going to address the issue in a future update. \n \nWhile responding to a fan in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subReddit, the game's art director, Joel Emslie, confirmed that more custom loadout slots are going to be added to the game soon. Also, while he knows more slots are coming, he's not sure when the update will be sent out. \n \nHe also explained why the developers haven't added more custom loadout slots in the past. \n"It's in mainline back at the studio and we've been tinkering with it," said Modern Warfare's art director over on the game's subReddit. "I'm not sure which update it's in, but I think it's next. Believe it or not, it can cause horrible bugs if not tested properly. I'm not certain about all this so don’t get fired up on me if I'm wrong." \nAlso while responding to a fan over on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare subReddit, the game's art director said that solid weapon camos such as red or matte black should be added to the game. So, expect to see those get added at some point soon. \n \nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SO_BNqLMucw \n \nJanuary is rumored to be a big month for Modern Warfare, as the developers have been rumored to be working on a battle royale mode, which, according to a rumor, will be released later this month. Recently, a Reddit user revealed the map which will likely be used for the mode, although, as of this writing, nothing has been confirmed. \n \nIn addition to the battle royale rumor, a data-miner discovered that the mode might be capable of hosting up to 200 players, making it the largest BR mode. Of course, some of the game's standard online modes are capable of hosting up to 100 players, so it makes sense for Infinity Ward to increase that cap for the rumored battle royale mode. \n \nFor now, though, it looks like the game's next update will add more custom loadout slots, and perhaps more solid gun camos. Also, if the rumors are true, then there should be another major update coming later this month, so we could get an official announcement very soon.
