World of Warcraft has a massive number of events, holidays, and so-called micro-holidays that keep the player base engaged and interactive. These events are incredibly important as time goes on in an expansion to continue giving the players something to do once they’ve maxed out their endgame content.

Even better than that, since so many of these end up being annual exclusive events, players get a once-a-year chance to earn some unique achievements and awards. These can range from titles, to unique collectibles and gear, to anything else you can think of.

Blizzard has just announced their upcoming holidays for April. With Easter and Spring being big celebrations in much of the world, there’s plenty to celebrate!

The first event will be the Murloc-heavy March of the Tadpoles on April 5th. This event has the Winterfin Murlocs of Wrath of the Lich King‘s Borean Tundra give control of their village to their young. You can do your part by adopting, feeding, and protecting a Murloc tadpole!

The Darkmoon Faire is coming to Battle for Azeroth on April 5th until April 11th. Take the portal to visit their neutral territory, partake in faire games, ride a roller coaster, and earn some unique prizes. With enough tickets, you can get a few heirloom upgrades and replica gear transmogs as well!

Classic‘s version will arrive on April 6th and stay until April 12th, but there really isn’t much to do in this version of the Faire. If you’ve collected a deck of Darkmoon Cards, you’ll want to take advantage of the opportunity to trade them in for a full ticket. Otherwise, you’ll mostly just be grabbing Faire food and chasing an orc child to buy a frog off of him.

Noblegarden is the Easter-influenced event that Blizzard adds in every year, drawing a large number of parallels to Easter traditions. Players will hunt for eggs and complete daily quests to earn unique rewards and transmogs, like bunny ears or outfits exclusive to the event.

Finally, we have Volunteer Guard Day on April 28th to close out the month’s festivities. This event doesn’t have much other than some fun in it, allowing you to salute a city guard to take on their appearance. You’ll be attacked randomly by enemies while you have the appearance on, helping you wrack up kills to increase your rank with the city guard.

And those are all of the events coming in April! Keep an eye on your calendar if you want to hop into any of these holidays.
