Bionic Bay is going to drop TOMORROW for PS5-and cling to those game controllers, because it’s not a regular platform game. It has physics-defying gameplay with deadly hazards, and a biomechanical world that will twist your mind-I mean, come on. The official PlayStation account just tweeted the hype, and honestly? It delivers.

So what is the deal with Bionic Bay? Think of a world in which physics works more like… recommendations. Other players have screamed about it-you know they are flipping gravity, manipulating momentum, and cursing at the hazard sent back to their last checkpoint.

And that trailer did wild stuff-walls metamorphosing into floors, ceilings zapping into launchpads, and the whole place is shifting like some dystopian game of Jenga.

The strange thing is that no tweet reply appears because this game is really so amazing-there will always be at least a couple of “HYPE” or “Day one buy” responses, but there is eerie silence.

Everyone may be too busy preloading, or they may just be going through therapy after that last time gravity got messed with… we’re looking at you, Portal.

No reply could mean that people forget about you, but not this one. Totally going to amp it up, though. That trailer presents a very nice, ethereal look really Indie darlings such as Inside or Little Nightmares have mastered-minimalist-yet-soaked-in-atmosphere. It’ll be real nice to see those biomechanical environments on a PS5.

If you are someone who gets angry with games every once in a while but is intellectual enough, wait for Bionic Bay. Other platforms are still unspoken about, while for the time being, PS5 will be their home.

So set a reminder, clear out some SSD space, and start stretching those thumbs now. Tomorrow will be quite a ride. Or sideways. Or upside down. Depending on how the game decided to screw you over this time.
