Assassin’s Creed Shadows-trademarked series from able hands of Ubisoft to carve itself open for the beautiful landscape of people’s hearts, in this instance the hearts of gamers-deservedly has placed the most recent season’s Twitter handle on a podium of audience interaction, where a tweet asks fans of their favorite side activities in the game, which resulted in an avalanche of replies that do truly showcase just how much content crammed into the already expansive open-world RPG besides the main missions.
What exactly do players love doing other than the main quest? The tweet hadn’t even begun to receive replies yet, but going by precedent from older AC games, they may range from your run-of-the-mill hidden tombs to blacksmith enhancements.
The series has always crammed distractions, sometimes rewarding and just plain whacko most of the time, and Shadows doesn’t seem to be any different in that regard.
Side activities before mostly involved treasure hunting (c’mon, who in the world would say no to feather chasing?), naval battles, or even running their assassin bureau. Shadows must have offered plenty of new fun, from duels in clandestine fighting clubs to mastering the tea ceremony-or maybe even recruiting ninja allies for covert operations.
It is strange to at least consider that AC fans normally go all out with their commentaries. I wonder-these days, could everybody be so busy with the game that they have little time to tweet?
Or could it be that the sidelines managed to suck all those players far away from the main content? Well, either way, the silence is talking. When any side activity is so good, maybe it just lets you forget about social media.
It is a given; Ubisoft likes to squeeze everything under their hats with which to do things. Parkour across rooftops, finding lost lore, or just making a mess on the streets seems to be exactly what Assassin’s Creed Shadows gives with its unique touch of history blended with chaos.
Anyway, take your time getting into the game. There will surely be some side quests that will bring the action to life, so be sure to check those out. Hey, just don’t forget to tweet about them-someone’s got to break the silence!
One thing that is for sure is to wait and see what the players will love to bits. But, judging by previous ones, probably something epic. Or one that really involves hours of roaming while petting animals. Because, let’s be honest-there’s never a loser in that one.
