Respawn Entertainment had to remind Apex Legends players one more time: The Bocek Blast event will end this weekend, so if those clips aren’t in already, it’s all over. The event has been ongoing for a little while now, giving players the opportunity to earn some snazzy in-game goodies just by showcasing some skills wielding the Bocek Bow. And truly, who doesn’t like free stuff?
Now comes the deadline, June 8, 2025. So if you’ve been holding those sick bow plays in your vault, time to get those clips uploaded! The official Apex Legends Twitter account shared this announcement, along with a direct link to the submission page. People, however, are not exactly… thrilled.
Well, while the event is brilliant, the replies are almost a whole event in themselves. Gamers are not holding back. They’ve gone from complaining about matchmaking to demanding buffs on characters. One user said: “Once again, nobody gives a fuck. You know what would be cool tho? A FUCKING MATCH MAKING FIX!” Oof.
Not just matchmaking. Everything else is discussed, from crashing issues (“The game still crashes all the time. Wtf.”) to weapon imbalance (“Yall really gotta do something about ash and the devo.”). There might even be this one guy begging for Wraith’s old kunai spin animation to return for like ten days running.
Now, let’s not veer off into the void-perfectly. This right here is the Bocek Bow: when wielded properly, a fearful thing-it does 70 damage from body shots and 122 from headshots-but definitely not a bow for noobs. I think someone said, “My Bocek is rusty at the moment!! 🥹,” while another thought it should be combined with teammates for close-quarter fights since the bow lacks there.
And, oh boy, the Switch 2 question dropped, too. Straight-up: “When apex on switch 2?” Seems reasonable, right? It’s on the original Switch now, so that’s not much of a stretch. But As of now, Respawn has been mum about it, so Switch 2 hopefuls will have to keep on holding on.
Against all the madness in the replies, the Bocek Blast remains a welcome addition to the ongoing Apex mayhem. Throw your killer edits in before the cut-off. Just don’t expect the community to stop roasting about the game’s downfalls any time soon.
Last call for Bocek Blast submissions! Get those clips in, ignore the matchmaking rage (or join in, no judgment), and maybe Respawn will finally have time to drop some fixes. Or at least bring back Winter Express. Because back from the woodworks comes a player yelling, “Winter Express. Now. ❄️🚂”
