Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the newest title coming to the Nintendo Switch. It’s been a few years since a new game was released. The last title to be released was not a full Animal Crossing console game, but a mobile title called Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

Pocket Camp is similar to others in the series, with the player acting as Camp Manager. Although the game has been out for a few years, it doesn’t have the full experience of the main title, and not every animal was included. Only a few of the most popular characters are available with every new update, but fans of less popular characters had to wait.

Many of the preorder bonuses are only for physical versions of the game. Players who don’t want to pick up the game or pay for shipping can download it digitally on release day but will forfeit any Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise.

Target has revealed that all preorders in North America will come with a journal. The turquoise-colored journal has an image of Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy. Preordering from Target will also come with a 2020 calendar.

Players interested in grabbing the rare Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise will have to act fast. The ad lists that journals and calendars are available in limited quantities, so not everyone will receive one.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons themed journal and calendar are exclusive to North American target stores.

Best Buy is also offering a reusable sticker featuring Tom Nook. The sticker has a retail value of $10.

More preorder bonuses will likely roll out in North America as the release date of New Horizons approaches. Some fans are still hoping for an Animal Crossing-themed version of the Nintendo Switch or a custom console sticker to match the new game.
