This incredible costume demonstrates why Rebecca was such a standout character in the otherwise chaotic series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which launched on Netflix earlier this Fall to a great deal of critical acclaim.
However, it was not until Studio Trigger came to life via their different anime lens that Cyberpunk gained a whole new broad world of admirers, even though the franchise had been operating for quite some time and the role-playing game’s universe had evolved in many exciting new ways over the years. Of course, this was because of all the crazy personalities that served as the focal point of the unique adventure.
A wild key cast was at the center of the story in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but out of all of the new squad that was presented, Rebecca has a good chance of being the huge standout. Viewers were captivated by her aggressive charisma. The dynamic reflected off of prominent characters like David Martinez, even though she was a little taller than them and held extensive firearms. Edgerunners is not afraid to show its ultra-violence, and while some of the stars may face horrible ends, Trigge was successful in making those scenes hit that much more when it happens to a member of the team that we came to love throughout the 10 episodes. You won’t be able to take your eyes off the screen for fear of missing a single animation cell thanks to Trigger’s style of animation, which is flowing, dynamic, and sparking with power at every turn.
