As we all know, Tuque games got acquired last month by Wizards of the Coast, which explains the return of Dark Alliance and the new project they’re working on.

According to the Head of Studio of Tuque Games, Jeff Hattem said to the press that, ‘From the moment I founded Tuque, our team has known that we wanted to bring our passion for Dungeons and Dragons and with same creativity to Dark Alliance.’ He went on to say, ‘We’re taking players on an epic journey through the harsh and violent Icewind Dale, where players are going to rely on their wits, their crew members, their weapons to help them survive the iconic monsters we’re going to send their way.’

The game is a Four-player cooperation action (offline or online, which also offers split-screen) will be the main center of Dark Alliance. Unlike their previous games, though, this particular game will have a third-person view instead of the usual top-down. Also, the playable characters include some famous names, like the drow Drizzt Do’Urden, his wife Catti-Brie, Wulfgar the Barbarian, and the dwarf king Bruenor Battlehammer. These characters are known to be of the Forgotten Realms setting Companions of the Hall.

What to expect from the Gameplay?
The games are about players going through the wilds of Icewind Dale. This terrain is one of the harshest places in the entire multiverse of Dungeons and Dragons. In the game, there are frost giants, goblins, gnolls everywhere. The thing is the game can be played in single-player, but it’s advisable not to do so because it would be tough.

In the previous ‘Darker Alliance’ games, it was for many people an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons. That’s when people got introduced into the world of Dungeons and Dragons via its games, and then they got excited about the world and expanded from there. So with that said, the game has a recent project that can introduce a lot of people to the world of Dungeon and Dragons.
