Rock of Ages is a strategy game that pits one castle against another. The user owns one castle and is responsible for defending it. But that’s not all; one of the objectives is to crush the other castle with a boulder.

But the guys on the other castle are also planning to destroy your own fort. You need to raise your defenses even as you plan on how to make sure your enemies are finally defeated.

According to the developer, there are three rules for Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break:

The first rule is that you need to fortify your castle to defend it against an upcoming assault. You can put obstacles along the way of the enormous boulder that will come rolling through your castle. The goal is to slow down or stop the boulder, or you can also knock it off course.

One addition for the third installment is the free-rein level creation that you can share with the gaming community.

The second rule is to destroy your opponents, crush their spirit so they won’t try to take you on again. Follow your own boulder as it maneuvers past all the obstacles put there by your enemy. For fans, there’s nothing like the feeling of satisfaction they get when they see their boulder destroy the enemy’s castle.

The third rule is to protect the crown. This mode is a head-to-head contest that can play as many as four people in an online match.

There’s another mode to Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break where you destroy as many objects as you can. It’s a race against time with your opponent– high-speed chaos that’s fun and satisfying at the same time. The one that can destroy more objects before the course ends will win the match.

According to the developer, the third installment will also feature boss battles. Historical figures and even mythological ones will make an appearance to test your skills. You may recognize historical figures as Julius Caesar and the Aztec emperor Moctezuma.

But there’s also the Spaghetti Monster, as well as Krampus, a half-demon, half-goat that haunts old German kids during Christmas.
