Thermaltake has climbed up the ranks to become one of the best gaming chair brands. Among their offerings is the revolutionary X FIT & X COMFORT Edition Professional Gaming Chair series.
Released over two years ago, the series was available in five colors only: all-black, all-brown, black/blue, black/green and black/red. The upholstery is premium faux PVC leather that looks just as classy as real leather.
Yesterday in Taipei, the Taiwanese company announced a new color addition – prestigious burgundy red for the two models. Burgundy red is a rare color that symbolizes power, wealth, and ambition. It is a unique color in Motorsports that is synonymous with luxurious cars.
According to the Thermaltake official website, the upholstery of the X FIT & X COMFORT Burgundy Red Edition Professional Gaming Chair series is real leather, and this brings a little excitement.
It’s everyone’s dream to own a genuine leather gaming chair, but they cost way too much. But Thermaltake is offering something at an affordable price. Unlike the household names like DXRacer, AKRacing, and Arozzi which mimic real leather, it’s such a great fete for the Taiwanese company to offer a real leather gaming chair finally.
Boasting premium craftsmanship, the X FIT & X COMFORT are excellent additions to the Thermaltake gaming chairs portfolio. While the color and upholstery are the main differences between the new models and what exists currently, the remaining specifications are just the same.
The frame is still based on the 22mm diameter steel. The 3-inch PU casters move freely and quietly. You get a class-4 gas piston which guarantees effortless height adjustment regardless of your weight. The multifunction 4D armrests offer comfortable elbow posture. The X FIT and X COMFORT both have Z-Support multifunction tilt, which supports up to 160° recline and guarantees stable and secure rocking.
The seat tray is sturdy, safe, and spacious enough. The dense cold foam padding, lumbar support, and headrest all come in handy in ensuring you have a comfortable gaming session. The FIT can support up to 265lbs. (120kg) players while the COMFORT is recommended for players up to 330lbs. (150kg).
The Thermaltake X-FIT’s model number is XF100 while the X COMFORT’s is XC500. According to Hexus and several other sources, the two new gaming chairs will join their counterparts on the TT Premium Online Store, and several other retailers including Amazon. The X FIT XF100 has a suggested retail price of $659 while the X-COMFORT XC500 goes for $699.
