Later this year, the popular streaming service will release a fantasy drama program based on the book series of Andrzej Sapkowski. The 36-year-old British actor, Henry Cavill, will topbill it. Here is a video of the Switch version of The Witcher to add up to the players’ excitement.

The London-based actor has been known for taking his roles seriously. When he receives a new project, he makes sure that he is 100 percent prepared after taking on the challenge.

As with his portrayal in The Witcher web series, Cavill disclosed he has always been ready for it. And this was even before he got the offer. He shared that he has been an avid fan and follower of the game and book series. Thus, when he was asked to play Geralt of Rivia, he felt no pressure somehow.

In an interview with the French magazine Premiere, he shared that he lives in the universe of the series. He likewise noted that it is what he breathes.

Reddit user Valimbomba did a translation of the interview. Accordingly, Cavill was already thinking about portraying the character while playing it. The Witcher Netflix series, therefore, could be a dream come true for him.

The actor has already done many scenes for the show. During the shoot, he has to wear costumes that exactly look like the ones Geralt used in the games. This is an excellent experience for him since he gets to “slip into the shoes” of the monster hunter.

On the other hand, The Witcher 3 video game is finally coming to Switch on October 15. This is said to be a downgraded version of the previous releases. However, this does not mean that it is way below the others in terms of gameplay and features.

It is worth noting that the title for the Nintendo console is a Complete Edition. This means that it is packed with all the released downloadable contents of the game. These include the Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone.
