EA and Maxis have asked the gaming community which The Sims 4 Stuff Pack they want to see next. They have released a SurveyMonkey poll where users can give their input.

The first poll, Create a Stuff Pack, concluded with EA posting the results on their official website.

Stuff Packs are DLC that doesn’t have as much content as expansion packs. Stuff Packs often come in themes, and The Sims 4 has several of them for a variety of items.

EA announced that “a tremendous number of Simmers” participated in the first vote. The results were posted on the official website and included:

Themes:

  • 1) Arts & Crafts
  • 2) Happy Haunts
  • 3) Self-Care
  • 4) Science & Technology
  • 5) Fun-Tech

Gameplay most wanted for the winning theme:

  • 1) Knitting
  • 2) Sculpting
  • 3) Glass Fabrication
  • 4) Edible Art
  • 5) Embroidering

The next Community Stuff Pack will include arts and crafts. EA needs more help from the community and has announced the second round of surveys.

In the Second Vote, gamers are asked to choose one of three potential art style concepts. They include Cozy Craft Workshop, DIY Delight, and Granny Chic. EA has provided a link with a sample concept for each option since the titles alone don’t have much information.

“Cozy Craft Workshop” contains a cupboard to hold a large amount of yarn, a new recliner, plus loungewear for the entire family.

“DIY Delight” has a brighter concept, with images straight from a Pinterest board. They include large crafting spaces, a pegboard to organize crafts, and artistic word art.

“Granny Chic” is a bit more self-explanatory. The concept art shows a room one might find in a typical grandmother’s living room, complete with a floral pattern recliner, baskets of yarn and unfinished projects, plus a door wreath.

While knitters may be pleased with the results, some wonder about the future of the options that didn’t win. It’s possible that EX and Maxis use them for future Stuff Packs or will be included in future Expansion Packs.

The survey will conclude at any time, and EA did not announce when voting will close. Gamers interested in sharing their voice will have to act fast. No login or sign-up is required to vote for the second survey.
