The second Stardom collaboration for the wrestling video game Fire Pro Wrestling World was recently announced. Fire Pro Wrestling World not only allows players to recruit wrestling stars but also create them.
Stardom is a women’s promotion based out of Japan but features wrestlers from all over the world. The collaboration will not only feature Stardom wrestlers, but their pro moves in the ring.
The “World Wonder Ring Stardom Collaboration” was first launched in August 2019. “Stardom, Japan’s leading women’s professional wrestling promotion, join the Fire Pro ring with 10 new wrestlers, including their signature moves, costumes, entrance themes, and voices! Believe now, shine tomorrow! We are stardom!” states the official DLC page for the collaboration.
The first promotion only included ten popular stars: Mayu Iwatani, Arisa Hoshiki, Starlight Kid, Kagetsu, Hazuki, Andras Miyagi, Momo Watanabe, Utami Hayashishita, Hana Kimura, and Jungle Kyona.
The roster for the second DLC is slowly being announced. At an event at the Tokyo Solamachi “Space 634,” wrestler Tam Nakano announced the news. Along with Nakano and Giulia, there will be a total of eleven Stardom wrestlers for the second collaboration DLC.
Similar to other collaboration DLCs, players will be able to use their favorite characters, or use their special equipment and gear, to create unique wrestlers or a new promo to challenge other fighters.
Both the promotion and game have also announced an upcoming wrestling event entitled “Fire Pro Wrestling World presents Stardom The way to major league 2020″ at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The matches include Mayu Iwatani vs. Sareee and Arisa Hoshiki vs. Bea Priestley. The fight cards were announced on the official Stardom website. The event will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, and tickets are available now.
Additional roster information for the second Stardom collaboration DLC will be announced in the next few weeks, including at the upcoming wrestling event. There’s currently no information about when the DLC will be released.
This is the second DLC in the past few weeks. The most recently launched DLC is the charity pack Takayamania 2. Takayamania is a fundraiser created by Minoru Suzuki for his friend Yoshihiro Takayama, who was severely injured during a match in 2017. All proceeds from the DLC go directly to the Takayamania campaign.
Fire Pro Wrestling World is available now on PC via Steam and PlayStation 4.
