Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Saber Interactive has released a brand new trailer, “United We Drive,” for their upcoming game SnowRunner.
The new trailer features the song “Don’t Let Me Go” by Raign.
In SnowRunner, players drive various vehicles in different environments, sometimes with rough weather. While the trailer tells the emotional story of a trucker working hard to provide for his family, there is no story mode in the game.
The trailer may be a reflection of how important truckers are to bringing precious supplies around the country, especially now during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The game does have the potential for players to create different storylines and become creative with their storytelling. Saber Interactive gives players plenty of opportunities to customize their gameplay with its open world and roadways.
“SnowRunner puts you in the driver’s seat of powerful vehicles as you conquer extreme open environments with the most advanced terrain simulation ever. Drive 40 vehicles from brands such as Ford, Chevrolet, and Freightliner as you leave your mark on an untamed open world. Overcome mud, torrential waters, snow, and frozen lakes while taking on perilous contracts and missions. Expand and customize your fleet with many upgrades and accessories, including an exhaust snorkel for heavy waters or chain tires to battle the snow.” states the game’s official summary.
Saber Interactive previously announced that console mods were planned in a future update after the game has been launched.
SnowRunner will contain DLC and has a Season Pass already for sale. Players can purchase the Premium Edition of the game, which includes the base game plus the Season Pass.
Saber Interactive previously launched MudRunner, an off-road experience featuring all-terrain vehicles across the Siberian. The title has solo play and multiplayer co-op with four other players. Mods were also previously featured as part of the game.
SnowRunner will launch on PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive. This means the title will remain on the digital platform for at least one year before it launches on other storefronts. Console players can access the title at launch with no wait.
SnowRunner launches on April 27 for PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will be released physically for the PS4 and Xbox One.
