Starting today, April 10, Pokemon GO has released its League leaderboard for the GO Battle League. The leaderboard ranks players on a global level giving trainers a chance to see where they stand against the overall community. With the league change from Ultra to Master, players are going to be competing with only the best for a chance at the top of the leaderboard.
The Pokemon GO community and developers have been holding strong despite the national pandemic. Niantic has implemented several programs and made some amazing exceptions to help their community play the game from their homes. This shows both dedicated to the community, and love for the Pokemon world.
The Pokemon GO Battle League leaderboard will show the top five hundred Trainers in the world. Their Trainer nickname, teams, ranks, ratings, and total matches will be available for all to see. Rankings will all be based on previous day’s in-game ratings for Trainers rank seven and up. The leaderboard is scheduled to update between 8:00 P.M. UTC and 10:00 P.M. UTC.
Respect and good sportsmanship is required. Trainers with active disciplinary actions or inappropriate Trainer nicknames will be excluded from the leaderboard. In an effort to maintain a positive community experience, trainers should make sure that they are following the TOS and rules at all times.
A brand new event has been added to the game to celebrate the launch of the GO Battle League. During the event, trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Marill. Marill will appear as a guaranteed Basic Reward after your first and third wins, and you can use the Premium Battle Pass to make sure that Marill appears after every win as a guaranteed Premium Reward.
All day on GO Battle Day: Marill players will be able to complete 20 sets of GO Battle League battles. This is an increase from the five regular sets with a total of up to 100 possible battle.
GO Battle Day: Marill will occur from 12:00 A.M. to 11:59 P.M local time. Make sure to take part in this wonderful Pokemon event for your chance at all the evolutions of Marill.
Pokemon GO can be played on mobile devices for both Android and iOS systems. Any fan of Pokemon is sure to love the mobile version that captures the idea of trying to catch ’em all. There is a huge active community and with the changes Niantic has made, you can even play this game from home.
