This month marks the 20th anniversary of the once-legendary game known only as Metal Gear Solid 2. This game is one of the greatest creations of mankind, and it is supposed to resemble a group of fighters trying to make it in the world and survive. They will go out and do whatever it takes to make it to the end of the universe, and in their long struggle, all kinds of insanity unfold and we find ourselves in a whole world of trouble and all the rest. Well, at least, that’s what it seems like if you subscribe to the notion of video game stories as so-called “fairie” stories a la Tolkien.

Well, if you ever played Metal Gear Solid 2, then you will know it came out in 2000 for the original PlayStation 2. It kicked a lot of butts and was about all kinds of insanity. If you have ever played a Metal Gear Solid game, then you will know these games are just chock full of insane plot points and all kinds of really weird characters and mind-bending, nonsensical stories. It is nothing short of a total fever dream, and this is why we love it. Or is it? Keep on reading below to find out more.

The whole point of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is to fight against the allegedly powerful super force known only as Metal Gear RAY, which is, in fact, an actual anti-Metal Gear. It is a force designed to destroy all of the goodies as if they were all actual baddies, or at least so you’d think or something.

Anyway, here’s the deal about this game: It sucks. In fact, they all suck. And if you really think about it, we have not had the opportunity to have any real games that take it up to eleven yet. That, in and of itself, is a huge mistake and part of the reason why the world is slowly disintegrating.

Here’s how gamers can fix all of this: First off, gamers need to rise up, and take the power back to the people. This is the only way to get things started because we live in a society. And this society is going to do everything in its power to stop gamers from rising up.
