Ever since Nioh 2 by Team Ninja was officially announced, the gaming community has been buzzing with excitement. It has been three long years since the original debuted exclusively on the PlayStation 4. It set this series up for success thanks to its unique visuals, story, and of course, RPG elements. Team Ninja has created a structure that they can confidently build off of in the sequel.

So far, we’ve received a couple of teaser trailers here and there. Team Ninja is doing everything they can to get gamers buzzing again and contemplating how the story could play out this time around. Nioh 2 is currently set to release in March for the PS4, with a PC port coming out sometime later. It’s only right that the developer would provide another trailer, showing a little bit more of what’s to come.

If you’ve been hoping for this day, you’re in for a treat. According to an announcement from Koei Tecmo via YouTube, Nioh 2 is putting out a trailer sometime tomorrow. You’ll certainly want to tune in if you’ve wondered where the developer is taking this highly anticipated followup. That’s pretty much all of the details we have at the moment. Will it be a trailer of gameplay or will the story be broken down? Anything seems possible at this point.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait much longer. Although, it would be nice to see concrete details of combat. The first game really nailed down this aspect. The battles were fluid and often challenging, especially when you encountered a boss. Some battles take hours of time to complete, and after all of that pain and suffering, immense satisfaction sets in. It’s what keeps people coming back to the original.

Hopefully, this upcoming installment has a similar design — but has improvements in the right departments. You can bet that we’ll see new countering systems and weapons. Expect to see more refined movements overall as well. March really isn’t that far off. PlayStation 4 users are in store for an amazing experience if the success of the first game is any indication.

Additionally, it will be interesting to see when Nioh 2 is eventually ported over to the PC. The first game eventually was, which is why many have such high hopes that the sequel will too. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Team Ninja disclose these details once we get a little closer to the PS4 launch or perhaps after it.
