Notwithstanding, there hasn’t been much when it comes to The Last of Us Part II footage. Besides, the last time The Last of Us 2 was in action was during September 2019. It seems that Naughty Dog is bent on not releasing sufficient information on the footage.

However, the recent episode of Sony’s State of Play participated in the unveiling by revealing critical details about The Last of Us II’s factions, combat style, crafting, and environments showcasing a new gameplay succession that conveys all the ferocity that everyone would expect.

Seen? While it looks great, it quite uncomfortable to play. From the footage we can see a majority of The Last of Us Part II is set around Seattle which is influenced by three factions:

• The Washington Liberation— a thoroughly-armed militia that usurped the incumbent military town.
• The Seraphites or Scars— a sect of religious ardent who disfigure their faces
• The Infected— this kind looks more dangerous than ever with quicker moving runners than previous states, and they take new forms similar to the bloated Shamblers that let out erosive when mobbed.

Speaking of which, Ellie now has all sort of new abilities and moves that helps her sustain and survive in Seattle. Based on the recent updates, she can now use ropes to reach hard-to-reach areas and span gaps and can skillfully craft a vast array of lethal traps and items.

From the extended gameplay sequence, we see Ellie’s adeptness displayed around a dilapidated hospital. Also, Naughty Dog does justice in emphasizing that Ellie’s enemies are just ordinary folks, and a part of the violence she bestows on them is absolute.
