Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has added many great features to the already amazing game. Higher tier monsters, additional gear, and even new food items were all added to make it an amazing experience. As the year continues on, players are already getting new content from Capcom with the release of a new update that will be added to the game.
On October 10, players will have a chance to fight a massive hulking ape known as Rajang. Details are only now starting to appear, but it is already apparent this will be a tough fight. The massive ape is expected to move quickly and hit hard, causing it to be a challenging fight all around.
Good rewards are set to come for the squads that can take down Rajang. If you succeed, you will be rewarded with a special pendant to commemorate your success. This update is adding much more than a simple boss battle as many qualities of life changes have been made, and additional social options are added.
You will now be able to hang out with other players in your room. This will allow you to immerse deeper into the game, show off your stuff, and party with your squad like never before. A new music player is also added, allowing you to change the music and show off your equipment in a brand new equipment display.
In addition, there will also be more to explore in the Guilding Lands. A new Volcanic region as appeared, giving players access to new materials that can be used to customize your weapons and armor further.
The developers at Capcom really outdid themselves with the amazing update to the core game, but this additional content shows something even more amazing. The content shows how much Capcom values fan feedback and slowly helps craft the game into an experience that will be around for years to come.
If you have not had a chance to purchase the Iceborne expansion, it is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and in January 2020 PC. You are required to have a copy of the core game already as it builds upon the previous content.
With more events rolling out and amazing updates on the horizon, fans of Monster Hunter have much to look forward to. The update is free for anyone who owns a copy of Iceborne, and the monster is expected to be reappearing over the course of the game afterward.
