Square is hyping this box set as “10 Magical Kingdom Hearts Experiences.” It will feature Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far and Kingdom Hearts 3.

While that might not seem like a lot on paper, it’s a massive amount of gameplay. Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far features either full length games or cutscene movies from every release in the Kingdom Hearts series.

It starts with the original Kingdom Hearts. This was the first release for the series and was a PlayStation 2 title. This is the Final Mix version of the game, which features some additional cutscenes and boss fights.

Then we have Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. This is a full remake of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories for the PlayStation 2. Originally, Chain of Memories was a Game Boy Advance title. It takes place between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 and features a card-based combat system.

Following Re: Chain of Memories is a remastered cinematic retelling of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. This was originally a Nintendo DS game following Roxas and Organization XIII.

After that, we have Kingdom Hearts 2. This was the second major installment in the franchise and also released on the PlayStation 2. This is the Final Mix version of the game, so it has some extra custscenes and boss fights thrown in.

Up next is Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, which originally released on the PSP. It is a prequel to the Kingdom Hearts series, following Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. This is also the Final Mix version of the game and it features a number of extras that were left out of the original release.

A cinematic remastered version of Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded is also included. That was a remake of the mobile game Kingdom Hearts Coded for the Nintendo DS.

Speaking of the DS, we next have Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, which was originally a Nintendo 3DS game. This is an HD remaster and takes place between Kingdom Hearts 2 and 3.

There’s also Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, which is a prologue for Kingdom Hearts 3 where players take control of Aqua in the Realm of Darkness. It was built on the same engine used for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Finally, we have Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover in cinematic movie form. This was a mobile game that told the story of the legendary Keyblade War.

Of course, we also get Kingdom Hearts 3, the most recent release in this franchise as part of the set.
