EA Sports has ensured that all aspects of real-world soccer are covered in this year’s edition. For the first time, female managers will feature in the soccer simulation game. If this sounds great to you, probably, you should also be interested in the best players in FIFA, women’s category.
1. Megan Rapinoe
She is the best-rated player in FIFA 20 women’s category. This follows a phenomenal World Cup performance where she scored six goals. The 2019 World Cup winner won the Golden Ball, Golden Boot, and the women’s FIFA World Player of the Year.
Megan is the highest-ranked player in FIFA 20 at 93. She plays for Reign FC in the USWNT as either an LM or LW.
2. Wendie Renard
The second-best player in FIFA 20 women, Wendie, is a French national who plies her trade with Lyon. The center back has a rating of 92. She is an indispensable performer for both the national and club teams boasting consistency and experience.
Wendie played five games in the 2019 Women’s World Cup, scoring four goals and making one assist.
3. Samantha Kerr
Quite fascinating, Samantha plays for both Perth Glory and Chicago Red Stars in the Australian W-League and Chicago Red Stars in the United States’ National Women’s Soccer League, respectively.
The Australian women’s team captain rated at 92 has an outstanding performance in the 2019 NSWL. In 21 matches, she has 18 goals and five assists, making her among the most lethal and prolific women in FIFA 20.
4. Eugenie Le Sommer
Le Sommer, a French national and Lyon player, is fourth in women’s FIFA 20 ratings. She had a fantastic performance with France during the 2019 Women’s World Cup.
She played five games, scoring two goals and made one assist. Le Sommer plays as an ST and can be deployed in the LW or CAM. Rated 91, she is among the top women soccer players at the moment.
5. Amandine Henry
The French national and Lyon player comes in at fifth. She plays as a CDM, and her versatility allows her deployment to CM when required.
With a rating of 91, she closes the list of the top five women players in FIFA 20. Amandine has a good record in 2019/20 for both Division 1 Feminine and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Other top players completing the top 10 list include Dzsenifer Marozsan, Lieke Martens, Vivianne Miedema, Caroline Graham Hansen, and Saki Kumagai. They are all rated above 90.
Unfortunately, the much-loved FIFA Ultimate Team won’t be featuring women players. Maybe this feature will be added in the course of FIFA 20’s journey, or it will come in next year’s edition.
