There have been dozens of installments, but for many, Halo 3 is one of the very best. From its single-player campaign to the incredible multiplayer, this FPS has it all and changed the genre as a whole when it first debuted back in 2007.

For years, it has existed only on consoles. More specifically, the Xbox 360 and then the Xbox One with The Master Chief Collection. Now after all these years, it’s finally coming to PC. The release date was just announced too and surprisingly, it’s right around the corner.

Starting July 14, PC users will be able to enjoy Halo 3 like never before. The announcement comes from 343 Industries after the closed beta testing is finally winding down. They’re getting all of the necessary feedback so when this game releases next week, PC users will have sublime first-person shooter experiences.

If you want to check out this particular installment, you’ll have to purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It will be available on Steam and for the amount of content that comes included, it’s a pretty solid package worth experiencing.

There are a total of six games, all built for PC. That means improved gameplay and better graphics to wrap your head around while you venture through some pretty compelling storylines.

The great thing about this package is you don’t have to be new to the franchise to enjoy it. You can re-live epic moments in the series in a novel way thanks to the PC-oriented settings and designs.

If you haven’t yet experienced any Halo game, there’s no better introduction than this collection. It’s an amazing value that will take you through one of the best gaming franchises of all time.

As far as Halo 3, it includes 11 incredible missions. The multiplayer has 24 maps, each unique in their own designs. This edition even has a forge and theater tool, where you can capture some of your favorite moments in this game and share them with the community.
