Yes, Ghost Recon Breakpoint may be down, but it’s still not out.
The first official raid of Ghost Recon Breakpoint is launching tomorrow. Called Project Titan, players are out in the wild where they find a mysterious computer.
Here is a teaser video for Project Titan:
The video features a squad of Ghosts taking a boat through a narrow channel below towering cliffs, and toward the dense jungle.
As the team hits land, they come across some sort of computer. The trailer then cuts to black and turns back on highlight a giant flying vehicle.
There’s not much information to go on. However, any new content is welcomed with this game after its tumultuous first few months.
If a gamer has played Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, or at least read news about it, they probably know about the situation the game is in.
When the game was announced, it had so much promise. Sure, Ghost Recon Wildlands got a little tedious after a while, but it was such a vast, beautiful game, and total win for the franchise.
Breakpoint was supposed to fill all the expectations Wildlands created, and surpass them. However, it fell flat. From inefficient game mechanics to numerous bugs, and boring gameplay, Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been anything but spectacular.
Hopefully, Project Titan will help spice things up before any more players are deterred from Breakpoint. There has been some chatter and memes popping up on Reddit and Twitter about the raid, however. Some gamers are complaining that the community has gotten a raid instead of fundamental game fixes. They’re worried that the time it took to make the raid could have been used by the development team to add more life to the game from the ground up.
Time will tell if this raid was a good thing to spend resources on. In the mean time, there was a massive update that just rolled out. Ubisoft dropped Title Update 1.0.3.1 a couple of days ago, and it is chock-full of changes and fixes.
The update was driven by community feedback, which was highly encouraged by the development team after they read the writing on the wall about the game. It is no secret that Breakpoint is already on its last legs, and it hasn’t even been out for two months.
If gamers want to read the patch notes, they can follow the link in the tweet above.
Also, if someone is interested in Ghost Recon Breakpoint and they haven’t purchased it yet, it’s 50 percent off for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia.
