The new football season is fast approaching and so are two of the most popular soccer simulator titles; Konami’s eFootball PES 2020 and EA Sports’ FIFA20. While both titles will be released sometime in September, it’s good news for Konami eFootball fans. The demo for this year’s edition is coming tomorrow on July 30.
This year, fans of the Konami game will have more time to try out the game before the official release. If you remember, last year, the demo was out on August 8, so this year, it comes a week earlier, and so does the official game. As you may be aware, the demo does not offer the entire features of the game.
As far as teams are concerned, there are new additions. However, some teams like Liverpool that featured in last year’s demo miss out in this year’s edition now that it won the Champions League and Konami‘s rivals, EA Sports have a cordial relationship with UEFA. The confirmed teams for PES 2020 demo include Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Sao Paulo, Corinthians, Vasco da Gama, Boca Juniors, River Plate, Universidad de Chile, and Colo-Colo.
Also, not every stadium will be available. In last year’s edition, Barcelona’s Camp Nou and Schalke’s Veltins-Arena were the only stadiums in the demo mode. This year, Camp Nou will be available again, but this time, Juventus’ Allianz Stadium and Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena will replace Veltins-Arena.
Just like last year’s edition, the PES 2020 demo will be rich in content. Konami will offer offline exhibition matches, offline co-op matches, and online quick matches. Besides, the Japanese developer will bring on board Edit mode giving players a glimpse of what to expect from the PES database, kits, crests & more.
The demo will be available free on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation. Now, in case you are wondering how to download the eFootball PES 2020 demo, here is the procedure. For PlayStation users, go to PlayStation Store and search “PES 2020 demo.” Add it to cart and download. This is the same procedure for Xbox One only that now, instead of going to the PlayStation Store, you will find the demo in the Microsoft Store.
This year’s edition of PES 2020, dubbed eFootball has a lot to offer. The developers have already talked about the improved gameplay mechanics, among other tweaks that inject realism to the game. The full PES 2020 game will be released on September 10, a fortnight before the release of FIFA20, which has not released the demo as of yet.
