Bandai Namco is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their series God Eater. The anniversary content includes a special video, new illustrations, and comments from the development team.
Along with the new artwork, a new website celebrating the God Eater series was unveiled. The new website is only available in Japanese.
The website contains a large amount of information regarding the development and release of the series. There is even an official fan club, but entry is free.
According to the description of the anime, now available on Netflix: “An enemy immune to conventional arms has caused the collapse of civilization and humanity’s only hope lies in a new living weapon: the God Arc.”
God Eater was first launched on the PSP on February 4, 2010. The most recent game, God Eater 3, was released in North America in February 2019. It is now available on Steam, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.
The website contains various links to the games and even related merchandise. The items include keychains with characters from the series, phone cases, books, mini wireless Walkman, clothing, artwork, collectible statues, and more. For God Eater fans in Japan, the new anniversary website is the perfect place to celebrate the series.
God Eater 3 was recently patched with Free Update Version 2.30 on January 22.
God Eater later became so popular that it was adapted into an anime, manga, and light novel series. There are also soundtracks dedicated to the series plus three pachinko machines in Japan.
There are six series so far in the series, including remakes and revamped versions plus a mobile spin-off.
Fans can also submit their God Eater fanart. The fanart is posted on the official website and placed inside a gold decorative frame.
In addition to the new website and celebration video, a video of the mobile game God Eater Resonant Ops’s first part of the main story will be available online. The mobile game is available on iOS and Android in Japan and takes place four years after God Eater 2 Rage Burst. Now players can watch the scenario online on the official 10th anniversary website.
More events are being announced celebrating the 10th anniversary of the God Eater series. All of the news will be released on Bandai Namco’s official website for the series.
